March/April Secret Sister Swap and More Pix of Our Japan Trip

Hi Peeps!  Hope you're all enjoying the weekend.  I'm still trying to get back into the routine following our trip to Japan.   Definitely need to get my craft room organized again.  What a messy hobby.  LOL.  But I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I was Linda's secret sister for the March/April swap and sure had fun inking up another one of the images by Di's Digi.  I love them all so much.

Ingredients for my card:
Image by Di's Digi called "Happiness is a Beary Daisy"
"Dainty Leaf" die by Poppy Stamps
"Small Hydrangea Blooms" die by Poppy Stamps
"Heart Banner" die by La-la Land
Copics
Spellbinder dies
Twine
Pearls by Kaiser Crafts

Also included a few craft goodies I hope she'll have fun with.

My secret sister was Kim.  She definitely whipped up a cutie card and perfectly blended her coloring with the nice DP combo.

OMGosh, Kim also included these beautiful RAKS.   THANK YOU SO MUCH KIM!!!!

More pix from our Japan trip.   Japanese are BIG on food presentation.  Here are a few pix of desserts in a few display windows I took while doing some mega shopping.  Too nice to eat.  LOL.

WINNER of my Japan Blog Candy

Update:   I received an email from Sunny Sue.  Thank you to all my followers.

Drum roll....CONGRATS to Sunny Sue who is the first of my followers to correctly guess 2 of the 6 cities we visited during our trip to Japan.

She answered:
Glad you enjoyed your trip! Looking forward to seeing more of your photos. My guess is that you visited Kyoto and Osaka. :)

Sunny Sue, can you please email me your full name and mailing address at hoaloha1999@gmail.com by Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. (Hawaii Time) please?    If I do not receive an email by then, I will post a new chance for all of my followers to enter with a new question.

Congrats again to Sunny Sue.

Back from Japan and Japan Blog Candy

Hello, Hello, Peeps,
We're back from our FUN trip to Japan.   OMGosh, we went to so many beautiful places in such a short time that it felt like we were away for at least a month.   Before our trip, a few people told us we probably missed the cherry blossoms since they are usually in full bloom in February and March but we were so happy because we saw quite a lot everywhere we went.   Here's a pix of the double cherry blossoms.

And the weeping cherry blossoms.  So pretty!!!

And white cherry blossoms.  I'll share more pix later as I don't want to "spill the beans" for the answer to my Japan Blog Candy question.   :-)

Of course I didn't forget my loyal followers and wanted to give you all a chance to win this bag of goodies from Japan.  As usual, the rules are easy-peasy.

1)  You must be an existing follower of my blog.
2)  One guess per person.
3)  First person with the correct answer wins.
4)  Deadline to enter:  Sunday, April 26, 2015 by 6:00 p.m. (Hawaii time) unless a winner is determined before then.

QUESTION:   Name 2 of the 6 cities we visited in Japan.

"Fore You"

Got another image by Di's Digi that I inked up with Copics.   Anything to do with golf always reminds me of my late dad who loved the sport.  I remember when he first took my brother and me golfing one day with my uncle, I must've been about 10 years old.  After hitting the ball, we walked to the next hole looking for their balls.   I found dad's, picked it up, waved it at him and said, "I found it dad."   Hee-hee, what a Kodak moment, he got all excited and said, "PUT THE BALL DOWN!!!" Oh gee Dad, I was only trying to help.  Hee-hee-hee.  Cracks me up when I think about it from time-to-time.

Ingredients for this card:
Image - "Fore You" by Di's Digis
Copics
Cloud and sun dies by Mama Elephant
Flying Birds by Memory Box
Palm trees from "Classic Frames" die set by Hero Arts
Spellbinder dies
"Landscape Stitched Die" by Mama Elephant

More Happy Mail

My goodness, I've been so blessed with happy mail lately.   Wowie!!!  I'm all smiles, ear to ear.

My sweet cuz always surprises me with happy mail and I received one not too long ago.  To thank her, I sent her a stamp set as shown in my 3/12/15 post.  And whaddaya know, I got more happy mail using that set.   She loves birds so I knew this cute little chickie set by Inky Antics would be perfect for her.  Love this darling card with her beaded charm she made.  CUTE!!!!

Along with the card, she sent me this sweet treat bag full of yummilicious goodies.    The  image is also from the same set.

And here are all of the sweet treats she filled the bag with.   Yummy, yummy says my tummy. THANK YOU SO MUCH CUZ!!!  MADE MY DAY SO SPECIAL!!!

Wait, there's more.   I also received this sweet Valentine's RAK from my blog buddy, Colleen.  She's also super sweet and full of surprises.

Inside, she included two packages of craft goodies.

Here they are.   She knows I use a LOT of flat-back pearls so these will definitely be used on my cards.  And the pretty hearts will add a nice touch to a Valentine's Day card or card for other occasions for a special someone.  THANK YOU SO MUCH COLLEEN!!!   YOU ALSO MADE MY DAY SPECIAL!!!
