Happy Easter and Happy Mail

Wow, where did the time go?   Can't believe Easter is just around the corner.  Brings back memories of when I was a child and we used to color eggs.  Sometimes we'd use crayons to make a design on the boiled egg first, then dipping them into the dye.   Then my brother and I would have an egg fight. Oh no, we didn't throw them at each other.....LOL, although that would've been fun too.   Don't think our parents would be smiling if we did that.  Bwahahaha. We each held an egg in our hand and would tap each other's egg using the part we thought was the strongest. Whoever's egg cracked, lost.   We sure ate a lot of Deviled Egg Sandwiches after Easter.  How 'bout you?

Well, on to my card.   Using this sweet bunny image by Kitty Bee, I inked it up with Copics.  Added 2 layers of laser cut grass by and from Island Scrapbooking and "hid" some eggs that were punched out with a Martha Stewart punch.   Used the QuicKutz die for the pennant and buttons by Pebbles. For dimension, I tied knots on the buttons with carpet thread.

And I can't wait to share the surprise happy mail I received recently.  Ohhh man, I was ready to do cartwheels when I opened the box to find this super kawa'i treat box from my blog buddy Eunice.  I tell you, she makes some of the most amazing projects.  You've got to check out her blog here.  You WILL be so inspired.

I was really careful opening the box as I didn't want to damage it.  Here's the box opened.   I spy some goodies inside.  Licking my chops.

Yum!!!!  These individually packaged mochi  were  deeeelicious.

But wait, there's more (oh, I sound like a TV commercial....LOL).  Eunice also made this cool calendar. How awesome is that????   Her work is so professional, a true craft expert.   THANKS A MILLION EUNICE!!!    Sure made my day special.

Thank you for stopping by and HAVE A SCRAP HAPPY DAY.

Wishing You A Speedy Recovery

Recently, I needed to make a couple of "speedy recovery" cards for two special people.   In order to get my cards out quickly, I kept it simple and made 2 identical cards using "Bamboo's Favorites" by Crafter's Companion.  Just inked the adorable bear with Copic, added the sentiment from the "On the Mend" clear stamp set by Lawn Fawn, and topped it off with the corner punch by Friskars.   And wala, done.  Good news is that both are recovering well.  Yay!!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a HAPPY ALOHA FRIDAY and a great weekend.

Mouse on Bluebell

We recently celebrated another co-worker's birthday last week and here's the card I made.  Kept it simple using "Mouse on Bluebell" by Wild Rose Studio.  Oh, that is one of the cutest mouse ever. Inked with Copics, added the laser cut sentiment by Island Scrapbooking, and the banner with button.....wala....super fast and easy peasy.

Our birthday girl couldn't decide between chocolate cake or a quiche.   So a few of us decided for her and chose quiche from Papa'a Palaoa Bakery.  (Oh, I can never remember that name)  Boy was that yummy and filling.

One of the gals also got a pkg. of their Chocolate Chip Cookies and made some moist and chewy brownies too.

Thanks for poppin' in for a visit.   HAVE A SCRAP HAPPY DAY!

Happy Mail from Cuz and Lots of Foodie Pix

Cuz did it again.   She sends me surprise happy mail that always brighten my day....BIG SMILES.

Starting off with the thank-you card I sent to her using the cool goodies she got for me.   Love, love, love the flower embossing folder, so sweet and feminine!  Also, the balloon die, perfect for birthdays or any type of celebration, and some itty-bitty rhinestones in a really nice assortment of colors.

Here's a close-up of the rhinestones.

Check out this cute, cute card she made.   Hopefully, one day she'll start a blog or share her talent on Pinterest.   (Hint, hint....again)  LOL

And here are the SWEET goodies she sent.  THANKS A MILLION CUZ!!!

And the goodies I sent to her.  She's a pro in making these flowers and also loves birds so I thought this chickie set was perfect for her.

Ready to see some awesome foodie pix?   Today we had our office luncheon and I couldn't resist taking pix of what our staff ordered.   We went to Pineapple's in downtown Hilo and OMGosh, YUMMY to the MAX!!!!  We started with a couple of appetizers.   Here's the Hamakua Ali'i Mushrooms.

And Gringo Spring Rolls.  OK, I was a bit slow in taking this pix so a couple of the rolls were already cut.   LOL.

A couple of my co-workers ordered the Curry Chicken Wrap with Sweet Potato Fries.

Avocado Spinach Salad.....oh nice and healthy....

Fish and Chips with Cole Slaw and Sweet Potato Fries.....

I ordered the Lemon Macadamia Chicken with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Sauteed Zucchini and Eggplant.   Ohhhhh, I was in heaven.  So ono.  I would order this again.

Chicken Pasta.....

Dessert anyone?  Oh YAH.   Here's the Chocolate Decadence that I ordered.   Remind me to start exercising.   LOL.

Haupia Dream with toasted coconut...

And one of their special desserts for the day....Key Lime Pie.....

We all rolled out of there after this awesome luncheon.   So lucky to work for a great firm.  I would highly recommend this restaurant to the local people and visitors.    YUM!!!

On the Beach at Waikiki

Hope you all have a fun and relaxing weekend.  Can't believe it almost over.

When I got "Pua" and "Kaleo", the newest images by Sister Stamps (Release 27), I knew I needed to make a card with a Hawaii theme.   Oh yahhhh!   I found this "Tropical Beach" DP from Island Scrapbooking by Scrapbook Custom.   You know, I've never really looked at the Hawaiian section of the store much before but after scoring this awesome DP, I'll surely be back for more.  With this beautiful shoreline scene, I kept it simple by adding the two cute keikis (children) and sentiment which I made.

Thanks for poppin' in for a vist and HAVE A SCRAP HAPPY DAY and awesome week.
