A Birthday Card for a Sweet Co-Worker, Favors, and Happy Mail

Last Friday was one of my co-workers birthday but since she took the day off, we had a little celebration yesterday.  In the past, whoever picked up the cake had to really think hmmmmm, what kind of cake would the birthday person like then hope he/she liked what we chose.  So now, we just ask the birthday person, "What would you like?"  Yummy choice, we had quiche from Hilo Bake Co.  yesterday and it was  deeeeelicious.

Here's the card I made for her.  I inked up Minako by Sister Stamps with Copic.  Thought I'd keep the Asian theme using washi paper, Woodland branch die by Memory Box from Island Scrapbooking, sakura stickers from Japan, butterfly punch,  cupcake sticker by Sticko from Ben Franklin Crafts, "Happy Birthday" laser cut by and from Island Scrapbook, and a gold sakura on Minako's hair from a crafty friend.

And here are the little favors I made using "Lip & Tape Bags" from Ben Franklin Crafts, filled them with yummy Peanut Butter M & M's, and added a little tag.  Easy peasy.

And lookie here.   These goodies are  from my dear bloggie friend, Colleen.  She always sends me sweet surprises in the mail.

Behind the Mrs. Fields box were these Hello Kitty sticky notes and sticky pads.   Sooo cute.   THANK YOU SO MUCH COLLEEN.  You sure brightened my day.

Thanks for stopping by and HAVE A SCRAP HAPPY DAY.

Love the scene you created and the sparkly sentiment! And are those M&M colors actually in a pattern?! You've got patience for that...looks so pretty!

Your card is wonderfully beautiful and sweet. You used the image perfectly and created a very special scene. You've inspired me to ink up my stamp and create a scenery for for her too. Glad that BFC has been able to supply you with what you need to craft goodies for your co-workers.

The card that you made for your co-worker's b-day is super sweet and cute. You always have that special creative touch to make such beautiful scenes. It's truly a special gift that God has given to you to make people's b-days and other occasions a little more special.

The favors that you made are very cute too. What a good choice... a quiche. I haven't had a quiche for awhile.

So happy that you like what I sent to you. Glad that my package made it safely to you and that it didn't take as long to get to you this time. :)
