CAS Valentine's Day Card for Hubby

Hey Peeps, hope you're enjoying the weekend.  Thank goodness the vog has cleared.  It was quite yucky yesterday, couldn't even see Mauna Kea.  Today, we have blue skies, sunshine, soft breeze, and temperature in mid-70's.

Since I was quite busy before Valentine's Day, I made a CAS card for my sweet hubby.  I inked "Mice with Balloons" by Wild Rose Studios with Copics, added some Stickles for sparkle, tab, button, and Frantage.  Topped it off with the laser cut sentiment by and from Island Scrapbooking.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a super crafty weekend.

Happy Anniversary to My Dear Hubby

Hubby and I just celebrated our anniversary and here's the card I made for him.  Yah, so this is supposed to be us on the boat....LOL. But in real life,  you wouldn't catch me on a boat because I'll turn green....ha-ha.

I created this ocean scene using the "Kiss and Tell" image by Whipper Snapper and inked it with Copics, then added the sentiment by Hero Arts.  Also used a bunch of dies listed below.

Dies:
"600 in and Out Stitched rounded Square S" by MFT
"Rolling Waves" by Taylored Expressions from Island Scrapbooking
"Puffy Clouds" by Memory Box from Island Scrapbooking
Sun by Mama Elephant
Fish by Whimsy Stamps

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Valentine's Day Mom

I whipped up this Valentine's Day card and sent it to my dear mom.  I definitely wanted to use the Cherry Blossom image from the "Lunar Extras" stamp set by Mama Elephant from Island Scrapbooking to create an Asian scene.   The dark pink Cherry Blossoms are my favorite so I inked them with Copics in that color.  "Mieko" by Sister Stamps was perfect for this scene as I was able to have her hold the heart-shaped balloon by cutting a little bit around her hands with an X-Acto knife, then tuck the string underneath.  Having to use "thin" string, I used 3 of the 6 strands from my embroidery floss.  Hope this cards brings a big smile to Mom's face.

Other ingredients:
"Puddle" image by C. C. Designs
Balloon die by Paper Smooches
"Stitched Landscape" for the hillside by Poppy Stamps from Island Scrapbooking
Grass stamp by Viva Las Vegasstamps

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES!!!
