Father's Day Card to My Dear Hubby

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend celebrating Father's Day!  Some of you may know that my hubby LOVES to fish so of course I had to whip up a fishing card for him.

I used one of the images from the "Sunny Days" set by Penny Black and the cute little doggie image by Dandelion Designs.  Inked them up with Copics and used some dies ("Puffy Clouds" by Memory Box, palm tree from a Hero Arts set, sun from the "Stitched Sky" set by Mama Elephant, gras hill frm the "Stitched Landscape" set by Poppy Stamps, and waves by Impression Obsession).  Have you ever counted the number of dies you have in your collection?  OMG, I'm afraid to count mine, I might faint.   LOL.  Oh, and the fish is a sticker.

Thanks for stopping by!

Strawberry Mouse

Woo-hoo, the weekend's coming up!  Can't wait. Hope you all have some fun things planned.  I for sure will be working on my cards for the first Island Scrapbooking Card Swap which will be held on 6/27.  How fun!!!

Here's a card I made a couple of weeks ago.  Couldn't resist this cutie patootie mouse image from Whimsy Stamps called "Strawberry Mouse."  Inked it with Copics, used Spellbinder dies, DP by Doodlebug, and an itty-bitty sentiment and mini tag die that I recently bought from Eva.   Really love the set.  Thanks Eva.

Today, our awesome firm treated us to lunch at Imiloa Sky Garden Restaurant.  We could either order off the menu or choose the buffet.  Buffet it was for everyone.   I ate just a little bit of salad and saved my appetite for the GOOD STUFF.  I went 3 rounds....no shame.   OINK!   LOL.

Thanks for stopping by and HAVE A SCRAP HAPPY DAY and weekend.

Wedding Wishes

Our son and girlfriend were here for a few days a for a friend's wedding so I made this card for them to give to the bride and groom.  I really love white-on-white especially for wedding or Christmas.  It's a bit hard to see the details but if you click on the picture you'll get a better view.

Ingredients for this card:
Embossing folder (Oh, it doesn't say on the folder and I tossed the packaging. But it's from my sweet cuz.  Thank you cuz)

Dies:
Noorland Flower by Memory Box
Lorilai Leaf by Poppy Stamp
Peace Dove by Memory Box
AZ Curved Border Die by Spellbinder

Before our son and girlfriend headed to the airport, we took them to Happy Valley Restaurant and grinded big time.

Chicken Salad

Sizzling Peppered Steak.  We ALWAYS order this.  So yummy!

Shrimp Canton

Roast Duck

Mongolian Beef

Hong Kong Noodles.  Who ordered that?   Me, gotta have my noodles.  LOL

We also ordered Crispy Gau Gee, Jelly Fish, Eggplant, Fried Rice, Sweet Sour Pork, and Pork Hash.    No room for dessert and we all rolled out of there with our bellies full to the max.   Lots of leftover, yay, no need to cook tomorrow and time to exercise now.  Ha-ha.

Thanks for stopping by and HAVE A SCRAP HAPPY DAY!

Flower Shower and Some Food Pix

Did you know there are so many coloring pages you can get on-line?  I've spotted a lot on Pinterest and here's just one of them.  Precious Moments has some super cute images that I love.  You can't even tell it's not a rubber stamped image.

Well, I inked this baby up with Copics and "framed" him with Spellbinder dies.  Added grass in the foreground with my Martha Stewart punch.  Then used a bunch of dies for the scene; "Landscape Trio" by Mama Elephant, sun from the "Stitched Sky" set by Mama Elephant, "Birdhouse" and "Resting Birds" by Memory Box.

Last night we enjoyed dinner with our friends at Restaurant Miwa, another one of our favorite Japanese restaurants in Hilo.   For starters, we ordered sashimi.   Nice cut yah?   But you know me, I like my food cooked so ....pass on that.  LOL.

This was my pick, Sauteed Mushrooms.  YUUUUUMMY!!!  Ooops, overexposed photo.   I'm such a dud when it comes to taking photos.

Fried Calamari (a wee bit overdone but GOOD) with 3 delicious sauces.  I wonder if I can figure out the recipe.  Ha-ha.  Maybe I should check Pinterest huh?

Dragon Roll sushi.  OK, I ate it since the saba was cooked.   That was very oishii (delicious).

We all ordered the combination dinner.  Here's what everyone ate.

This was my plate, Shrimp Tempura (of course, that's my "steady Eddie" dish), Chicken Teriyaki, and Beef Teriyaki.  Oh boy, I couldn't finish so I enjoyed the leftovers for dinner tonight.

Thanks for stopping by and HAVE A SCRAP HAPPY DAY!!!
