For the May swap, the theme was "boys." I wasn't sure if I had a boy-type image in my stash but luckily, I found this one and made this outdoor scene for Jayne. Looks to me like he's hungry and craving a burger and hot dog.
To make the cloud background, I made this template by cutting white card stock using the Puffy Cloud Border die. It has the stitched edge and I didn't want the Distress Oxide ink to bleed thru so I taped the back side of the stitched areas, then placed the template on the card stock that would be used for the background and gently swiped the edges with Distress Oxide.
Supplies:
"Natural Boy" image by Lelo Design
Hot dog and hamburger images by Imaginisce
Sun die from the "Stitched Sky" die set by Mama Elephant
"Puffy Cloud Border" by Lawn Fawn
Distress Oxide
Thought bubble from "A Birdie Told Me" by Lawn Fawn
Copics
Turns out she was my secret sister and sent me this cool card of boys (and looks like a girl) toasting marshmallows and playing music by the campfire. Thanks for the RAKs too.
Thanks for much for stopping by.

This is a great card. Thanks for explaining the how-tos of cloud making. Mine always look stiff but your clouds are very attractive. Thanks for sharing with blogland.
Fabulous card Karen, love the image and the thought bubble with the food images, great design, Kate x
Cute card, Karen! Looking at the burger and hotdog in the little boy's thought bubble is making me hungry too, Lol! Thanks for the little instructional on the clouds...very clever how you thought to cover the pukas from the stitches with tape...gotta remember that!
Both you and Jayne great cards for each other. What a clever idea to put a thinking bubble in your card with the boy thinking of what he wants to eat. I really like the cute snail on your card too.
