Christmas Joy

Hey Peeps!   OMG, can't believe Christmas is 3 weeks away.  Where did the time go?

Creating this snowy holiday scene with these cute little critters was lots of fun.   I'm thankful that the only snow we get here on the Big Island is on Mauna Kea and sometimes on Mauna Loa and can enjoy the beautiful view from a lower elevation.

A Hedgie Slider Card - Sweet Happy Mail

Don't we all love "Happy Mail?"   I just received this super sweet slider card from Lianne.  What a cute and happy scene.  I totally LOVE IT.   Thank you so much Lianne.

A couple of weeks ago, my sweet cuz visited the Big Island and gave me this super cute Halloween card.  The die she used is adorable especially with the bird hanging upside down.

July/August Secret Sister Swap

This has got to be one of the easiest cards I've ever made.  Using one of the beautiful digital paper exclusively from Island Scrapbooking, I cut a section to fit a 5" x 7" card, added Anuhea and Halia by Sister Stamps, and the laser cut sentiment, also by Island Scrapbooking.

June Secret Sister Swap

When I received Kathy's "theme" for the June swap, I must say I was super excited because she sent us a picture and all we had to do was use at least 2 colors from the picture and it didn't have to be the exact hue. Coincidentally, I had just finished making a card and it had a bunch of colors that were in her picture.  I was like, "YAH!!!!!!!"   I was Patty's secret sister and this is the card I sent to her with a few RAKs.

This is the picture Kathy sent.   Ohhh, lots of colors.

And Kathy was my secret sister.  She made this super cute card that reminds me of our family trip to Oregon many, many years ago.  Oh, I can still remember Crater Lake, so beautiful.  Kathy also sent me so awesome RAKs too and I know I'll have a lot of fun with them.  THANK YOU SO MUCH KATHY!!!!!

"For Someone Special"

These baby elephants have got to be the CUTEST EVER.  I'm really not a big fan of elephants but when I set eyes on these babies, I knew it was a must-have.   This is one of the samples I made for Island Scrapbooking.  Did you hear??? The store moved to a new location at 578 Hinano St., Ste. 105, just 5 minutes from the Hilo airport with LOTS of parking and 2 popular restaurants just steps away.  For you visitors who more than likely will shop at Big Island Candies (a popular tourist place), Island Scrapbooking is just across the street.  PRIME location!!!!
