Taking a Stroll with My Sweet L'il Friend

I better get this post up tonight since we're in for some really nasty weather tomorrow from
"Flossie," expecting 6 to 10 inches of rain, high winds, flooding, and possible power outage.   Yikes!  Did some preparation today....just in case.  Well, despite all that yucky weather we're expecting, this card shows the kind of weather we had today...just beautiful but boy was it hot, even at the elevation we live in.

To create the vine on the trellis, I used the "Fauntleroy Crest" die by Memory Box which I got at Island Scrapbooking.  I cut it in sections to create a vine.

Fun items used:
"Ayako" by Sister Stamps
Chick image by Dandelion Designs
Copics
"Bamboo Trellis" die by Elizabeth Craft Designs from J's Knicknacks
Grass die by Impression Obsession
Grass punch by Martha Stewart
Sun die by Hero Arts
Tiny flower punch by Studio G from Ben Franklin Crafts
Butterfly punch by Martha Stewart
Pearls by Kaiser Crafts

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Creative Inspiration Paint - "Anything Goes"
Pile It On - "Challenge 30 - Anything Goes"
Avenue 613 - "Challenge 30 - Anything Goes/Optional Twist Friendship Day" (I chose the Optional Twist)

Thanks for stopping by and HAVE A SCRAP HAPPY DAY!!!  Till next time.....toodles.

Your card is enchanting. When you make a card using a Sister Stamp, it makes me want to go to my collection of them and make something pretty too. I love the lattice in the background and your color choices.

Another fun "scene" card, Karen! Lynn describes it perfectly as "enchanting". I really like how you added the flower vines to the bamboo lattice...great idea!
