A Happy Mousy Day

What is it with mice?   In cartoons and crafting, they are so cute and adorable.   But in real life, they freak us out...LOL.  OMG, I remember when I was living on my own in my early 20's, I rented a little cottage-like place.   One day, I spotted a tiny mouse in the kitchen.   I flipped out, thinking 'AHHHHH, WHOA, gotta catch that sucker.'   So I bought a mouse trap and set it up that evening.  In the middle of the night I heard a loud SNAP.  Whoa, I caught it but didn't dare get close to it even though it was a "goner."  Luckily, my hubby (boyfriend then) came over the next day and got rid of it for me.  True love...hee-hee.    He asked,  "What kind of bait did you use?   I replied, "Cheese" and he laughed.  I asked, "What's so funny?"   He laughingly asked, "Why did you use cheese?"   I answered, "Because that's what I learned from watching cartoons."   Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.  Good one.

Can you see the little mice on this image?  You may have to zoom in to see the "cute" little creatures.

Isn't that so true about mice! The one's on your card are so cute, and you did a great job of putting together your card. So much attention to detail with all the pretty pearls, lace and flowers...and as always, I just LOVE when you stitch it up!

Yes, mice are cute in cartoons, but definitely not in person. It must be true love for your hubby at that your boyfriend to help you get rid of the mouse that was caught in the mouse trap that you set. :) Did he tell you what you should have put on the trap? I would have put a piece of cheese too. LOL!

The card that you made is so pretty. I love all the detail and hard work that you put into making the card. I did need to zoom in on the image to see all the mice. I noticed the one by himself, but not the rest of them. Without zooming in they look like flowers.

Have a good week!
