"Happy Hellos" CAS Card

Happy Hellos Peeps!  Hope you're all enjoying your weekend crafting.   On Friday, I took a few hours of vacation time and we took a drive to Kona to shop at Costco.   Can you imagine, we need to drive about 100 miles to the one and only Costco on this island.   I sure hope they open one in Hilo in my lifetime.   However, it was a beautiful sunshiny day and we enjoyed the ride.  A little bit like playing tourist.  LOL.

Today, I want to share this CAS card featuring one of the images from the Pixie Dust Studio digi set that I recently won in their blog hop.  I chose the set called "Pixie's Favorite Things."  Isn't she a doll, a real cutie?   I inked her up with Copics leaving a teeny-tiny part white on the cherries in hair to give them some "reflection" from the light.  Also used my new tag die by Sizzix, border and leaf punches by EK, DP from my evergrowning stash, ribbon and flower by Offray, and a button with carpet thread tied to it.

 Here's a close-up of the flower.
I'm entering this CAS card in the following challenges:
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge - Challenge #147 "Ribbons and Bows"
Paper Shelter - "Anything Goes"
Craft Your Days Away - Challenge 52 "Anything Goes"

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a G-R-E-A-T week and Have a Scrap Happy Day today.

No crafting for me this weekend with all the unpacking from our trip and downloading pictures. Hopefully I can get some crafting in this week. :) The digi image that you won is indeed a cutie. I always enjoy what you come up with and how you use such a wide variety of your materials. Have a Christ filled week! God bless!

Wow, I feel bad for you about Costco. I live really close to mine and sometimes I run in to just get one thing. One time the cashier said, "Really that's all you're buying?, afterall this is Costco." And I told her yup, I only need this bag of Hershey Nuggets for my project!LOL!

Aww, what a cutie card Karen!!! Congrats on winning that digi! I've been to that Costco in Kona and not sure why I went there but it was awhile back. That sounds like such a long drive for you to get there.

I love this girl in the teacup card. Your coloring is great and the metallic looking flower is very unique. Thank you for stirring up my imagination.

What a cute card, Karen! Very cool how you created the light reflection on the cherries...might be easier your way than trying to get my white gel pen to work! Really like how you used your tag die to create an arch-like frame to showcase your sweet digi...but again most of all love the effect of the stitching!
Costco's 100miles away? Wow, with the soaring prices of gas, that doesn't leave you with much of a savings, huh. I agree...you need one in Hilo!
