Life is Sweet with Yummy Treats

Here's a card I made for Kim's June Sketch.  This image brings back memories of me as a child.  I loved cupcakes and always asked my Dad to buy some whenever we went to the bakery.

For this card, I used my dessert image by Stampendous with cupcake DP by 3 Bugs in a Rug, and the dotted pink DP from my stash.  The sentiment is by Our Craft Lounge.  Other supplies used:  Copic, Distress Ink, Spellbinder dies, flower embellies by Sassafras, word punch by Stanpin' Up, and pearls by Kaiser Craft.   And of course, can't forget to add some stitching.

Thanks for popping in.   Hope you all have a great week.

What a fun sketch to follow. Your card turned out very cute and yummy. It would be so much fun to eat all those yummy treats. What was your favorite kind of cupcake when you were little? Do you like cupcakes just as much now?

Oooh! What a yummy and sweet little card you created! Perfect choice of background paper for your tiered treats! And as always, I really love seeing how you've stitched everything up. Really want to try this...do you adhere your papers down with tape first before you stitch? You always do such a neat job!
