At our last FCE club meeting we decided to once again decorate a HUGE Christmas tree at Hale Anuenue (nursing home) among other things. We chose an Asian theme. I really scored when I went to Island Scrapbooking to find this die on sale. Cha-ching....I had to get it. One of the girls suggested making an ornament using Japanese characters. So with that in mind, I incorporated both along with origami paper and came up with these. Jenny (Crazy for Paper) will think I'm nuts because I had to cut two pieces for each ornament. Jenn, I made 23 ornaments. It was suppose to be 24 but I messed up on one. Whew, that took a long time. In fact, I think I pulled a muscle on my shoulder cranking out so many Hello Kitty's and had to use Tokuhon...stinky stuff. I'm all better now. LOL.

Too cute and creative with the characters! I love how they turned out. :)
So cute, Karen. Made these last year but adding the Asian theme bumped it up - will need to case this too. TFS.
Your efforts were well worth it! The results are beautiful!
