A dear friend of mine will be having surgery tomorrow and to help her with medical expenses, I made 6 packs of 5 assorted cards for her to sell.   Woo-hoo, I'm so happy they sold quickly.  I know it's not much but every little bit helps right?  Here's first batch.

Heartfelt Thanks Cuz

My sweet cuz made my birthday a very special one with some crafty goodies and a card that's "Da Bomb."    My thank-you card to her comes no where close to the super-duper fancy one she made for me.  I don't think I would even attempt to make one like hers.  Anyhoo, this is the card I make for her using the embossing folder (part of her gift) she sent to me.  The images are by Lawn Fawn (Critters Down Under) and the sentiment is a laser cut by and from Island Scrapbooking.

Here's the card she made for me....WOW YAH?  I posted it last month but it's such a beauty, I want to share it again.    See, what'd I tell you.....DA BOMB right?  WOWSER!!!!

March/April Secret Sister Card Swap

Hey Peeps!   Hope all is well with everyone.   I've been MIA for a while.  Things have been a bit crazy since the beginning of the year.  Most recently, hubby and I just returned from a trip, then off to Oahu this weekend. Next up, home renovations.  Much to do, much to do.  So my posts may be infrequent for a while.  

Anyhoo, here's the card I made for my March/April Secret Sister Swap.  I was Gloria's secret sister and made this card for her.  The theme was "happy" so I thought a riddle would be great for a little laugh.  Oh dang, I sent her RAKs too and forgot to take a pix.   See, must be losing it.   LOL.

Patty was my secret sister and this is the super cute card she made for me.   Isn't this sweet?

Awesome Birthday Card from Sweet Cuz

Hubby and I just returned from a trip and was welcomed with this BEAUTIFUL birthday card and crafty goodies from my sweet cuz.   When I opened the envelope, I was blown away with the amazing card she made.  Love all the details and pretty sakuras.   Oopsie, I'm definitely not an expert with cameras so please excuse the shadow.   THANKS CUZ!!!!!!!

A Sympathy Card for a Special Aunty

Sadly, my sweet Aunty passed away recently.  She was really special and left me with treasured memories of our childhood when we used to have sleep overs at her house with my cousins, eating musubi for a night time snack before hitting the pillows, coloring books, playing ping-pong, and mostly the family get-togethers for Thanksgiving at her house.   Ohhhhh, so much ono food.  I will always remember her smile and kindness.
