How to Be a Follower and Post a Comment

A couple of friends told me today they wanted to post a comment onto my blog to enter my blog candy giveaway but didn't know how. So I thought I'd provide some instructions.

First you'll need to have either a gmail, twitter, or yahoo email account.

Open the blog site
Click on FOLLOW
Sign in using an account you have or created with google, twitter, or yahoo
Sign in by entering your email address and password
Click Sign In
Click on Follow this blog
Done

To post a comment:
Click on the title of the post.
Scroll down.
Click on Post a Comment
A secure question appears. I always click on Yes
Type your comment in the box.
Click Publish Your Comment
A secure questions appears again. I always click on Yes
Your comment will appear a the end of the list.

Creative Crafts at Our FCE Fair

The annual FCE Fair was held today and here are some of the goodies our crafty club members made. In case you're wondering, FCE stands for Family and Community Education.

These are a few of the beautiful ribbon leis Ella made. Such patience.

We had an assortment of yummy baked goods such as pizelles, mochi, Chinese pretzels, a variety of cookies, etc.

Ohhh, and check out these Caramel Apples. Almost too nice to eat. That went out FAST.

Jenny made a bunch of super cute memo holder. She's so unbelievably talented.

We had a variety of hand-made cards too that both Jenny and I made.

This was our club project. They are Post It holders on clear acrylic photo frames decorated with cute wooden embellishments and a motivational quote. That sold out.

"Belated Birthday"/ Mother's Day Blog Candy Giveaway

My wonderful hubby took me to Las Vegas for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and it was the BEST birthday I ever had. We basically, shopped till be dropped, ate to our hearts content (Alsakan King Crab Legs at Redwood Bar and Grill, lunch buffet at Makino Chaya, etc.), and did a little bit of gambling. I'm not a gambler so shopping was the highlight for me.

About a week before our trip we checked the internet to see what kind of weather we should expect. It was similar to Hawaii, about 80 degrees high and low in the 60's.....perfect. Ohhhh, but Mother Nature tricked us. The high one day was in the mid-40's and another about mid-50's. BURRRR. I think she must be going thru menopause. Ha-ha.

That's OK because when we went to JoAnn's EVERY scrapbooking item was 40% off. I had no idea there was a sale....sheer luck for me. CHA-CHING, I hit the jackpot there. Forget the slots. LOL.

My hubby also took me to Las Vegastamps and Michael's in Vegas. When we returned to Oahu, I managed to literally squeeze in a super-duper quick trip to Munchkins in Mililani. It was a whirlwind trip but FUN!!!
