Celebrating Son's Birthday

Recently, one of our sons celebrated his birthday.  Thought it would be a good time to use my Distress Oxide ink pads to color the "celebrate" die by MFT for his shaker card.

What a super cool card for you son. I am impressed that you made a shaker for him. I love shaker cards, but I find them very time consuming to make. What a fun idea to use Distress Oxide ink pads to color "celebrate." I have never heard of those pads before. Using them to color the word turned out awesome. I am sure that your son was honored that you made a card especially for him for his b-day.

Great shaker card for your son's birthday! Been reading up on those new Tim Holtz distress oxide inks... is it true that they are super easy to blend? I really love how your die cut "Celebrate" turned out! I'm not good at blending inks, but if this ink makes it easy, I'd like to give it a try. Did you use the special blending tool to do this?

You did a beautiful job with the ink blending Karen. I just bought some oxide inks but I'm not doing any better with these either, guess I just need to practice more. Your little monkey is so cute, your son must have loved his special card.
