Ayako Shaker Card

Hey Peeps!  Hope you all have some fun things planned for this long Memorial Day weekend.

It's been a while since I made a shaker card so I gave it a shot by inking up Ayako by Sister Stamps, used washi paper from my stash, "Flowers #3" die by Sizzix, and cupped sequins.  Easy.

Recently, I thought to myself, 'Hey, if I can make charms for my cards, I should be able to make earrings."  Right?  It has been years since I wore earrings and just started wearing them again.  So I went to HM Ben Franklin Crafts the other day and today again, got some supplies, and used crystals and pearls that I already had.  The crystals are from a very special bloggie friend.  Thank you dear friend.  Ta-daaaa.   They're so fast and fun to make.

Thanks for stopping by and HAVE A FUN AND SCRAP HAPPY DAY.

What a beautiful shaker card. (I have been wanting to make too, but have had a chance to yet.) The earrings are beautiful too. I love them both. Did you purchase the washi paper that you used on the card from your recent trip in Japan? BTW, I am surprised that you are still able to wear earrings after you have not worn any for a year. The holes have not closed up on your ears?

Oh what a pretty card Karen!! I haven't made a shaker card in forever, but I've been seeing them pop up here and there around blogland. It must be all the sequins that are popping up in stores now. I love the pretty papers and Ayako. Gorgeous!
Oh those earrings are beautiful! You and Eva are really cranking out some pretty projects. I don't think I could add any more to my plate, but it would be fun to learn how to make my own jewelry. These will look lovely on you. Great job!! Happy crafting!
