Magnetic Coaster Calendar with Cute Kiyomi

Woo-hoo, craft fair season is officially here.   How FUN!!!   I made these calendars and donated them to my friend along with some previously posted cards.   She sells papercraft, sew items, yummilicious baked goods, etc. at a fair annually.   Proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.  The fair was held today.  I had hoped to post this earlier but I actually whipped these up at the last minute and time sure wasn't on my side.

For this magnetic calendar I used "Kiyomi" by Sister Stamps, Copics, dog image by Dandelion Designs, crinkled washi paper from Japan, fence, butterfly, and grass punches by Martha Stewart, and rhinestones by Kaiser Crafts.

And here are all 3......

Yesterday after work, hubby and I made our quarterly 100 mile haul to Kona to shop at the one and only Costco on the Big Island.  The sun was setting and I couldn't resist taking a pix of the beautiful site.  Costco, Costco, can please open a store in Hilo?    LOL.

I'm entering the following challenges:
The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog - Challenge 88 "Anything Goes"
My Mums Craft Shop - Challenge 382 "Bold & Bright"
Anything Goes Challenge - "Anything Goes"
Totally Stampelicious - "Anything Goes"

Hope you have a fun and crafty week.  Thanks for poppin' in for a visit.

The calendars that you made for your friend to sale at the craft fair turned out fabulous. I am sure that she will be able to sale them and the your cards pretty fast. It's wonderful that the proceeds will be given to the American Cancer Society. Yikes... you have to travel far just to go to Costco. Hopefully there will be one closer to you one day soon. :) It's so cool that their are so many craft fairs in HI before the holidays. I wish we had them here. We only have 2-3 that I know of. That's nothing in comparison to all the ones HI has. One day I would love to be visiting HI during craft season. Hope that you are having a wonderful Sunday. Hugs!

That is so generous of you to donate to charity. I'm sure your calendars sold out quickly. Your work as usual is well-crafted and artistic. I like the idea of a magnetic calendar.

Oh Karen, these magnetic coaster calendars are just so cool! What a clever idea for a calendar...ahhh, so that's what you can do with those chipboard coasters! Love how you decorated them with Kiyomi and created such an adorable little scene with the puppy and your MS punches. Bet they were a hit at the craft fair!
