Cely's 1st Blogaversary Blog Hop Sweetened with Candy

Aloha and welcome to Cely’s 1st blogaversary hop!  Hawaii Paper Party just turned ONE! You should’ve gotten here from Carri's blog.  If you are just tuning in and would like to start at the beginning, head on over to Cely’s blog to start hopping!

The theme of this hop is PINK, since it is Cely’s favorite color. We’ve all created some cute pink projects along the way.  Don’t forget to visit, follow, and leave a comment on each post along the way and head on back over to Cely’s blog so you can win the GRAND PRIZE blog candy!

Now, on to my project.    Cely is such a cool, creative, and inspiring "cookie," so I thought this card would be perfect for her.   "Cookie Emma" and the stool by CC Designs were inked up with Copics.  The sentiment is by Dandelion Designs.  Since the image of Cookie Emma has only one cookie in her left hand, I paper-pieced a cookie to put in her right hand to fit the sentiment.  Other supplies I used were Spellbinder dies, DP from my "collection," flourish from sweet Dora, flowers by All Natural Accents from Photo Craft on Oahu, corner accent sticker by Studio 122, and Distress Ink.

I want to add more sweetness to Cely's blog hop so I'm adding a candy giveaway to one lucky winner by random drawing.  For a chance to win these 2 sweet stamp sets, you must do the following:
1)   Be a follower of my blog if you aren't one already.  You must follow publicly.
2)   Leave a comment telling me you are a new or existing follower AND what is one of your favorite brand of stamps.
3)   One entry per person please....thank you.  :-)

The deadline to enter is SUNDAY, MAY 6, 2012 at 10:00 P.M. (Hawaii Standard Time).  The winner will be announced either that night or on 5/7/12.

Hop on over to Cyndi’s blog next!

Here is a list of all the stops, just in case you lose yourway:

Thanks for hopping along and celebrating Cely's 1st Blogaversary.    Be sure to hop on back to my blog on 5/7/12 to see if you are the lucky winner of my candy.   Toodles and Have a Scrap Happy Day.

I'm a new follower. My fav stamps are many but definitely like clear stamps or rubber cling stamps as opposed to rubber mounted. My fav brand if I had to choose one would be Inkadinkado which I have most of.

Oh, this is so adorable!! That sentiment always makes me laugh, and fabulous job getting that second cookie in there!! Since I'm part of the hop, I'm not really eligible for the prize, but I love to share, so...my favorite clear/rubber stamps are a toss up between Simply B Stamps and Pure Innocence...my favorite digi stamps are a toss up between Simply B Stamps, Tiddly Inks, and Sassy Studio Designs. =D

Aw cute CC designs... It's like the game we played when we were wee kids: "Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar"? Have fun on the hop, and great candy give a way too..
Enjoy your weekend!

What a fab card Karen. Love all work that you put into it especially the stitching that you did. The sentiment is perfect for the card. The stamp reminds me of my daughter. She's my little Cookie Monster. Wish I could eat cookies like she does and not gain the extra pounds.

What a cute image. Though it's clear that she has no intent on sharing. She has taken a bite out of both cookies!

Oops... so sorry Karen I did not follow your directions earlier when I posted a commented. I think I am a follower of your blog. If I am not I will sign up as soon as I finish this post. Your question of what my favorite brand of stamp is way too hard to answer, but one of them is Stampin Up. Sorry I posted to two comments...

Sooo cute! I like how you made it work with putting a cookie in the other hand, lol! Us crafters are so creative, aren't we? That's a great sentiment, and very true also!

I'm a new follower! Boy, picking out a favorite stamp is hard for me. I've never met one I didn't love! I guess my fav would be Close to my Heart ones, but they are just too dog gone expensive so I can't get many at once. Outside the craft budget! ;)

Have a great weekend!

Great card! I'm a new follower, but a long time lurker on your blog. Don't really have a favorite stamp as I'm just starting out and am still in the "dabble and try" stage. :)
