Naughty Puppy Post It Note Pads

All you doggie lovers, this ones for you.   This sweet little pooch is from the "Naughty Puppies" set by Whimsy Stamps.  Couldn't resist getting this set.  Reminds me of our 4 rascal dogs.  Wanna hear something funny?  Well, you might find the subject a bit gross but here goes.   Buddy, our male dog peed on a post one day.   You know how males lift their leg to do their business.  Well, "Ratty", a female was watching him and wouldn't ya know, she walked up to the post and lifted her leg to do her business.   I couldn't believe what I saw but rolled laughing.  Silly dog.  Anyhoo, these will also be donated for sale at a craft fair with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

Harumi Post It Note Pads

More Post It Note Pads for the craft fair with proceeds to the American Cancer Society.  Here's smiley Harumi by Sister Stamps relaxing in the bamboo garden.  I inked her up with Copics and used a bamboo DP from my stash to keep the Asian theme.  I used the scalloped punch by EK for the grass.

More Post It Note Pads

Been on a roll making these Post It Note Pads.  I used the mini stamps by Dandelion Designs and inked her up with Copics.  Super fast to color.  The washi paper is from the stash I got from Japan a few years ago.   The "NOTES" sentiment was made on my computer which I punched out using a punch by Stampin' Up.

Flower Girl Post It Note Pads

Using one of the images from the Flower Girls Set by Dandelion Designs, here's a pix of a Post It Note Pad Holder.   I inked this cutie with Copics and embossed the background with an embossing folder by Cuttlebug.

Here are 4 of them which I'm donating to sell at a craft fair.   Proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

Shin Shin Post-It Note Pads

This year, I decided to start on my little crafty items in April (since I panicked a little last year...LOL) to donate to a friend who will be selling them at a craft fair on November 1st. Proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.   I got a steal of a deal on Post-Its, tablets, pens, and mini pens so I'll be posting a bunch of them in the upcoming days/weeks.  Managed to finish them in May so I could get started on my holiday cards and calendars.

First up, I couldn't resist Shin Shin by Sister Stamps.  Thought the pretty Yuzen paper I won from Lynn a while ago would make a perfect background.  Thanks Lynn.   Check out her inspiring blog here.   Also used the scalloped punch by EK for the grass.

A Birthday Card for Mom

Woo-hoo, it's the weekend.   What have you got planned?  I'll be taking pix of the items I made to donate for the American Cancer Society fundraiser.  They will be sold at a craft fair on Saturday, November 1 and I'll start posting them soon.  But first, I'll need to figure out how to use my new camera as my old one is acting up.   I can't take a pix with it anymore but so thankful I was able to take a shot of this card that I made for my mom's birthday before it went on the blink and could download it because I already mailed it to her.  Whew!

I've had this bamboo DP for quite a while and wanted to create an Asian themed card for mom.  This cutie patootie image is "Mieko" by Sister Stamps which I inked up with Copics.  In the actual image, Mieko is holding a stick of 3 yummy mochi.  I snipped the stick off, carefully cut around the edge of her hands so I could tuck the strings (carpet thread) under.  Her pet pooch is by Dandelion Designs.
