My wonderful hubby took me to Las Vegas for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and it was the BEST birthday I ever had. We basically, shopped till be dropped, ate to our hearts content (Alsakan King Crab Legs at Redwood Bar and Grill, lunch buffet at Makino Chaya, etc.), and did a little bit of gambling. I'm not a gambler so shopping was the highlight for me.
About a week before our trip we checked the internet to see what kind of weather we should expect. It was similar to Hawaii, about 80 degrees high and low in the 60's.....perfect. Ohhhh, but Mother Nature tricked us. The high one day was in the mid-40's and another about mid-50's. BURRRR. I think she must be going thru menopause. Ha-ha.
That's OK because when we went to JoAnn's EVERY scrapbooking item was 40% off. I had no idea there was a sale....sheer luck for me. CHA-CHING, I hit the jackpot there. Forget the slots. LOL.
My hubby also took me to Las Vegastamps and Michael's in Vegas. When we returned to Oahu, I managed to literally squeeze in a super-duper quick trip to Munchkins in Mililani. It was a whirlwind trip but FUN!!!

Happy Monday! Gosh, I've been super busy lately. Finally got to play with my rubber stamps again. Here's my newest card. I got the idea from the the Hero Arts catalog and tweaked it a little.
