Woo-hoo, it's the weekend. What have you got planned? I'll be taking pix of the items I made to donate for the American Cancer Society fundraiser. They will be sold at a craft fair on Saturday, November 1 and I'll start posting them soon. But first, I'll need to figure out how to use my new camera as my old one is acting up. I can't take a pix with it anymore but so thankful I was able to take a shot of this card that I made for my mom's birthday before it went on the blink and could download it because I already mailed it to her. Whew!
I've had this bamboo DP for quite a while and wanted to create an Asian themed card for mom. This cutie patootie image is "Mieko" by
Sister Stamps which I inked up with Copics. In the actual image, Mieko is holding a stick of 3 yummy mochi. I snipped the stick off, carefully cut around the edge of her hands so I could tuck the strings (carpet thread) under. Her pet pooch is by Dandelion Designs.
