Hope you all enjoyed the long weekend.  As for me, it flew by much too fast like a blur.  With family visiting from Oahu, it was WONDERFUL!!! 

  Here's a stamp by Son Light Crafts U.S.A. which I bought at a clearance sale some time ago.  It's been hollering at me to ink it up.  I was procrastinating on this one because of all the little details to color but it was actually FUN!

Hello Kitty Thank You Card

Woo-hoo, Friday has finally come.   Hope you all have some fun plans for the long weekend.   It'll be a great one for us spending it with family visiting from Oahu.  You know what that means, eat, eat, and eat.

Here's a thank you card I made for my dear friend with the Hello Kitty Bee die she gave me for my b/d.  It was fun putting her together.  BIG THANKS to my sweet, sweet friend.

A Happy Birthday Card

I can't believe the weekend is just about over.  Hope you all  had a fabulous one.  It was a fun one for me.  My dear friend took me out to lunch for my b/d which was last month.  She's such a busy, busy woman so told her no rush.  We went to 1-Plus-1 Cafe and enjoyed our girly chat for 2 hours.  I think we could've talked all day just catching up on things.  Me being me, I'm so chicken to try something new for fear it might be junk.  Well she knows I LOVE noodles and told me the Chow Funn was really ono.  Though I had my mind set on their Special Noodle Soup (my Steady-Eddie thing to order), I decided to try the Chow Funn.  She was right....YUMM-O. 

Speaking about birthdays, here's a card I made for another dear friend.   I've been wanting to make a card with the swirly bling-bling and thought it would be perfect to add it to her card.  To add some dimension to this image that came with a balloon, I cut it off and used my balloon die by C.C. Designs, and twine.  I poked a hole above and below the kitty's paw to make it look like he was holding the "string."

I received this awesome "happy mail" from my sweet cuz today.   When I opened the pkg, I was like, "WHOA!!!!"  And you can see why.    Alrighty let's start with her card.  She made this gorgeous card using the "Flowering Quince" die by Sizzix.  B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L yah?

And here's a pix of the die.   Love it!!!

I think she has mental telepathy because I was thinking of getting these dies.

And she included some great paper to color with my Copics!

Meet Yumi

Happy Aloha Friday Peeps!  Hope you have a fun and exciting weekend up ahead.

I was so excited to have received my Yumi and Fumi stamps so quickly.  WOW, talk about speedy service. I eagerly inked up "Yumi Peace Sign" and created this Mother's Day card.  Using washi paper that I bought in Japan, I paper pieced Yumi's kimono.  Doesn't she look happy all dressed up?  I think she's ready to go Bon dancing.

And here's a peek inside.  I fussy cut a few flowers from the same washi paper used for Yumi's kimono.
